Peter “Burna” Holung

Born and reared in “Reggae Land”, Burna first encountered music as a student at Campion College, Jamaica, where he played in the school band. Emerging from those initial fiery musical passions is the multi-faceted individual, “Burna”, a man who today sports numerous hats of which Bassist Extraordinaire, Master Studio Engineer, Owner/Operator of the iconic Burna Bass Studios in Markham, Toronto and Co-Founder of the band are just a few.
One-half  of IBADAN’s leadership duo, Peter’s musical journeys as one of Toronto’s renowned bass players has been fulfilling and eventful. He continues to produce and play with some of the music business’ biggest names including Belinda Brady, Tony Rebel,Gregory “The Cool Ruler” Isaacs, Freddy McGregor and dub poet, Michael St. George.

Edwin Harrigan

Edwin, IBADAN's other co-founder is also its dynamic keyboardist and a consummate transnational. An Anguillan by birth, Edwin spent his formative years in Tortola, British Virgin Islands pulling up roots to settle in Toronto during the early eighties. It was as a student at The University of Toronto that he joined the University’s band, Connections. This was only the beginning! In fact, Edwin unearthed the name IBADAN during a “research project for an African History course” at The University of Toronto. According to Harrigan, the concept of identifying the band as a group of “musical warriors” strengthened as he delved deeper into the historical origin of the word IBADAN. He was sold! A tireless talent on Toronto Reggae circuit, he finally solidified his association with “Burna” and the rest is musical history. IBADAN!

Lorraine "Rraine" Daley

Lorraine has been LUMI (Living Under Musical Influences) for most, if not all her life. As the baby sister of Third World’s legendary bassist, Richard Daley and trumpeter/horns man now music manager, Trevor and songwriter/ producer (PD Productions), Phillip’s older sis, it was only a matter of time before she would succumb to that hidden but instinctive nature. In 2007 she did just that and is one of the supporting pillars of IBADAN and recording artist, Treson. Lorraine joined IBADAN after completing two years as Co-lead with The Vintage Vibes Band. A trained Nurse, she has moved from the ICUs and bedsides of some of Canada’s most respected hospitals to the stages of Toronto’s premier and prestigious entertainment venues. In 2009, “Rraine” received rave reviews from The Weekly Jamaica Gleaner Newspaper as “the most outstanding singer” that night for her rendition of Phyllis Dillon’s “Stay Away” at The Brickhouse, where she was the special guest artiste.  Lorraine has also appeared on The Morgan Heritage show in 2008 and is the voice of April 2009’s number one internet dance music track, Enough Stuff, which was written and produced by brother, Phillip.
